COLUMBIA, Md. — Maryland State Police have arrested a man in connection with an alleged armed road rage incident on Interstate 70 in Howard County. Andrew Baker, 30, was taken into custody at his Harford County residence on Friday, according to authorities.

Baker is charged with felony assault and using a firearm in furtherance of a felony crime. He was transported to the Howard County Detention Center following his arrest.

The incident occurred on October 12, when Baker allegedly pointed a gun at another motorist during a road rage encounter near Route 29. Police executed a search warrant on Baker’s vehicle, where two loaded handguns were recovered.

“Be calm behind the wheel or do it behind bars,” Maryland State Police stated in a social media post regarding the arrest.
