BROOKLYN, MD — Police have arrested a Baltimore man in connection with a non-contact shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning in Brooklyn, Maryland. The incident involved a gunshot striking a passing vehicle but resulted in no injuries.

The shooting was reported on Belle Grove Road near 10th Avenue at approximately 4:05 a.m. on November 12. According to the victim, his car was hit by a projectile fired from a black SUV driven by a man in his 20s. The victim told officers he had passed the SUV when he heard the gunshot and discovered damage to the rear of his vehicle after stopping at a nearby service station.

Officers conducted an initial search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Northern District detectives launched an investigation and, through leads, identified the suspect and the vehicle involved.
