Suspect arrested in North Philadelphia stabbing that left man critically injured

PHILADELPHIA — A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left a 22-year-old victim in critical condition early Saturday morning, police said.

The incident occurred at 2:39 a.m. on the third floor of a building in the 1400 block of North 15th Street. The victim was stabbed twelve times in the back and once in the right ear before being transported to Temple University Hospital.

Authorities have charged the suspect with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses. His name and photo will be released upon completion of processing.
