The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has arrested and charged 29-year-old Dajuon Meniefield of Bowie in the murder of 33-year-old Christopher Mozee of District Heights. The incident occurred during a youth football game at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill on June 15, 2024.

Responding officers arrived at the scene around 11:20 am to find Mozee in the bleachers with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. A second victim, a child, also sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during the incident.
