Suspect Who Pepper Sprayed and Robbed Man in Baltimore Arrested

BALTIMORE, MD – A 35-year-old male suspect was arrested early on May 29, 2024, following a robbery and assault incident in the Central District of Baltimore.

At approximately 1:50 a.m., Baltimore police officers patrolling the 200 block of West Lexington Street were approached by a male victim who reported that he had been pepper-sprayed and robbed by an unidentified male. Responding medics treated the victim at the scene for his injuries.

Based on the description provided by the victim, officers immediately canvassed the area, successfully locating and arresting the suspect. The apprehended individual has been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges related to the assault and robbery.

Police did not release the suspect’s name at this time.
