Suspect who shot and killed woman while she was driving arrested

McKinney, TX – 31-year-old Courtney Mikial Thomas was arrested and is currently in the Collin County Jail in McKinney, Texas.

Thomas is a suspect and was charged in the murder of 45-year-old Jennifer Hernandez at the end of last year.

Hernandez was shot and killed on 12/15/2021 near 1500 N. Rockford. Hernandez crashed a SUV into a light pole after she was shot in the chest. She died on the scene.
