MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating the December 4, 2021 armed robbery that occurred in Silver Spring. Detectives have released surveillance video and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspects.
On December 4 at approximately 8 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to the 8300 block of Grubb Road for the report of an armed robbery that just occurred.
The investigation by detectives determined that two suspects exited a dark colored BMW and approached the victim, who was in the parking lot. The suspects, both displayed handguns and demanded personal property from the victim. The victim complied with the suspect demands. The suspects then fled the scene with personal property belonging to the victim. Approximately 20 minutes later, the suspects were observed on video surveillance attempting to use credit cards stolen during the robbery of the victim.
