Suspects Photographed Fleeing Scene in DC Burglary

Washington, D.C. – In the early hours of Sunday, March 17, the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Third District was summoned to a burglary at a business on the 1500 block of U Street, Northwest. Investigators are now requesting the public’s help in identifying the culprits behind the break-in and theft.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that suspects had forcibly entered the establishment through a rear door. Once inside, they stole cash before escaping in a nearby vehicle. Surveillance footage capturing the suspects is currently being reviewed by the police, who seek assistance from the community to identify those involved.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the suspects or the burglary to contact them directly at police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
