Syracuse Police Department to Host Annual National Night Out Event

Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse Police Department will host its annual National Night Out community event on Tuesday, August 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kirk Park.

Local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, first responders, the FBI, and military franchises will participate in the event. Activities for children will include bounce houses, face painting, a gaming trailer, dancing, and more.

National Night Out is a yearly community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Millions of neighbors across all fifty states take part in the event on the first Tuesday in August to foster positive relationships between police and community members.
