Traffic stop and search warrant lead to arrests in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD. – On Thursday at approximately 12:00 p.m., officers from Anne Arundel County Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC near Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Cedarcliff Drive in Glen Burnie. During the stop, officers discovered one of the occupants had an outstanding warrant.

The individual, Danyell Pender, 47, of Baltimore, Maryland, was placed under arrest. A search incident to his arrest uncovered 148 MDMA pills, about 11 ounces of marijuana, drug packaging material, and a cell phone.

In a separate incident, Western District detectives executed a search warrant on Thursday around 8:20 p.m. in the 8000 block of Greenleaf Court Terrace in Glen Burnie. As detectives approached, the suspect, Tai’jae Kyron Holland, 27, fled but was quickly apprehended without incident.

During the search, detectives found approximately 64.29 grams of suspected crack cocaine. They also searched Holland’s 2011 Chrysler 200 in connection with the investigation.

Four Arrested in Glen Burnie Robbery

**Glen Burnie, MD -** Officers responded to a robbery on Monday around 4:00 p.m. in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway. Four armed suspects approached a victim, demanded his property, and fled in a gray 2007 Pontiac G6.

Police located the vehicle on Ordnance Road. After a search, officers found a stolen 9mm Canik Model 2 semi-automatic handgun, a 9mm Ruger LC9 semi-automatic handgun, two 9mm Polymer 80 semi-automatic handguns, and approximately 84 grams of suspected marijuana.

The suspects were taken into custody. They were identified as 18-year-old Izaiah Allen Conway of Middle River, 18-year-old Devin Austin Smith of Essex, and two other males aged 17 and 15.

Charges have been filed against all four individuals. The investigation is ongoing, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
