**Pittsburgh, PA** – The Allegheny County Police have pressed charges against an adult paraprofessional following an incident at Sto-Rox Upper Elementary.
On Monday, the police department’s General Investigations Unit received a ChildLine report regarding a contractor. The contractor, employed at Sto-Rox Upper Elementary, allegedly struck a 10-year-old student with special needs.
The investigation revealed that the incident occurred on Thursday. Video evidence shows the student in the hallway when London Simmons, aged 31, allegedly opened a door into her, causing her to fall and break her glasses.
