**Suspect Charged in Fatal September Shooting**
**Oxon Hill, MD**
The Prince George’s County Police have charged a suspect with murder in a fatal shooting case from late September. The suspect, Frederick Stevenson, 33, from Washington, DC, is accused of fatally shooting Daryl McCall, 30, from District Heights.
The incident took place on September 27 at approximately 7:40 p.m. Officers responded to the site in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police found the victim, Daryl McCall, deceased from gunshot injuries in a parking lot. Another man was also injured in the shooting and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
During their preliminary investigation, officers discovered that the shooting stemmed from a dispute, with Stevenson and the victims being known to each other. As a result, Stevenson has been charged with first and second-degree murder, among other related charges.
Stevenson was located and apprehended by authorities in Washington, DC, with the cooperation of several law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshal’s Capital Area Regional Taskforce. Stevenson awaits extradition back to Prince George’s County. Anyone with additional information regarding the case is
