TALLAHASSEE, FL – On Jan. 1, just after 2:30 p.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a call for service in the 1500 block of Lake Avenue in reference to an injured person.
When police arrived on the scene, they located one victim, an adult male, with stab wounds. The victim had succumbed to his injuries. After a swift and thorough investigation by TPD’s Violent Crimes Unit, a person of interest was identified in the case and subsequently arrested for murder. The suspect and the victim were known to each other. TPD is committed to bringing justice for victims and closure for impacted families. If you see something, say something.
