Teen Arrested in D.C. for Robbery Involving Stolen Shoes

Washington, D.C. – A teenager has been arrested by the D.C. Metro Police Department in connection with a robbery where a victim’s shoes were forcibly stolen. The incident occurred on February 12th, in the 1600 block of Irving Street, Northwest.

During the assault, the victim was walking when approached by two suspects. While one suspect engaged in physical assault, the other seized the victim’s shoes before both fled with the stolen property. Following an investigation, a 15-year-old male from Southeast, D.C., was apprehended on Monday under a DC Superior Court custody order and faces charges of Robbery.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, and Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
