PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 19-year-old male was critically injured after being shot in the chest inside a bedroom on West Thompson Street. The incident occurred at around 6:39 PM on a third-floor bedroom of a building located on the 5400 block.
Police responded to the scene and transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he remains in critical condition. As of now, no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. The Shooting Investigation Group is leading the ongoing investigation.
