WASHINGTON, DC — A deadly shooting in Northwest Washington, D.C., early Tuesday morning has led to an ongoing search for suspects. Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to 9th Street Northwest, near V Street and the 9:30 Club, around 1:20 a.m. following reports of gunfire. They discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds upon arrival.

The victim, 19-year-old Marquis Ward of Northwest D.C., was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Another individual was found with a minor graze wound. Authorities are currently seeking a dark-colored Audi or Volkswagen SUV believed to be linked to the incident. The vehicle reportedly carried several occupants, possibly three to four, all donned in dark attire.

The investigation remains active, with detectives piecing together the events that led to the shooting. The D.C.
