Baltimore, MD – An evening shooting in Baltimore’s Western District left an 18-year-old man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, prompting a police investigation.

The incident occurred on August 13 at approximately 5:27 p.m. in the 1000 block of Whatcoat Street. Responding officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Western District Shooting detectives have taken over the case and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2477.
