Teenage suspects sought in armed carjacking in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD — Greenbelt Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Tuesday evening at 5815 Cherrywood Lane, where a woman’s silver Nissan Rogue was stolen at knifepoint.

According to police, four suspects, described as black females who appeared to be teenagers, approached the victim and forcibly took her vehicle. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the carjacking to contact the Greenbelt Police Department at 301-474-7200.

The investigation is ongoing as officers work to identify and locate the suspects.
