Washington, D.C. – A teenager has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Northeast.
On Sunday, September 22, at 1:20 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Benning Road, Northeast. Upon arrival, they found a juvenile male victim with a gunshot wound, who was then transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives determined that two suspects were involved in an altercation with the victim inside an establishment. One suspect shot the victim as he attempted to flee.
On Monday, September 30, a 14-year-old juvenile from Northeast was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for violent crimes in the District of Columbia.
