Third-Prize Powerball Tickets Sold in East Elmhurst, Endicott

EAST ELMHURST, N.Y. — The New York Lottery announced today that two third-prize-winning tickets, each worth $50,000, were sold for the August 21 Powerball drawing. The tickets were purchased in East Elmhurst and Endicott.

One of the winning tickets was sold at Moreno Brother’s, a convenience store located at 9415 Astoria Blvd in East Elmhurst. The second winning ticket was purchased at Weis Markets, situated at 1109-11 Main Union Center Hwy in Endicott.

The Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Both ticket holders have not yet claimed their prizes. The New York Lottery encourages all players to check their tickets.

According to the New York Lottery, winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
