WILDWOODS, NJ – If you’re a pet owner who loves to take their furry friends on vacation, then one New Jersey beach resort community is calling your name.

The Wildwoods, which includes Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, and North Wildwood, is excited to announce a warm welcome to vacationers and their pets for an unforgettable experience. The three towns have dog beaches, parks, and numerous pet-friendly businesses and accommodations.

Starting from May to October, pets can enjoy their own space at Glenwood Avenue in Wildwood, where safety measures such as leashes and cleanup are emphasized. Additionally, North Wildwood beaches welcome dogs outside of lifeguard hours. For dining, establishments like Morey’s Mariner’s Pier’s PigDog Beach Bar and MudHen Brewing Company welcome pets in their outdoor areas. These locations serve as prime examples of the area’s inclusive atmosphere for dog owners.

Celebrating national dog holidays is a highlight in Wildwood, with events scheduled throughout the summer including National Pet Week and National Dog Day. Additionally, sightseeing and fishing boats in the area allow dogs on board, ensuring they’re not left behind on adventures at sea.

The Independence Day Patriotic Pooch Parade and the Morey’s PigDog PuppaPalooza are among the key events inviting dogs and their owners to participate in themed parades and activities, highlighting the community’s pet-friendly spirit.

This initiative solidifies Wildwoods’ position as a leading destination for pet owners seeking a vacation spot that caters to the entire family, including their four-legged members.
