Three Arrested in Rehoboth Beach Drug Bust

Rehoboth Beach, DE – Delaware State Police have taken three individuals into custody on felony drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at a hotel in Rehoboth Beach. Eric Howell, 49, of Rehoboth Beach, Trevor Harmon, 32, of Lewes, and Elizabeth Hone, 23, of Rockville, Maryland, were all arrested as part of the operation.

On Tuesday, law enforcement officials from the Sussex County Drug Unit and the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force conducted the search at the Rodeway Inn and Suites. The warrant was issued after investigating Howell’s involvement in distributing narcotics from the hotel. Howell attempted to dispose of narcotics upon seeing detectives, but all three suspects were apprehended without further incident.

During the search, detectives found 11.78 grams of crack cocaine, 0.15 grams of heroin, $310 in suspected drug money, and digital scales. Howell now faces multiple charges, including intent to distribute and tampering with evidence, and is held on a $34,500 bond.
