Victim identified in deadly three vehicle crash in Wilmington

Wilmington, DE – A violent three-vehicle crash that shut down a Wilmington roadway Tuesday night has now been linked to a 29-year-old city resident as investigators continue working to determine how the deadly collision unfolded.

Delaware State Police identified the victim as Isiah Johnson, 29, of Wilmington, who died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The collision occurred Tuesday evening and involved three vehicles, though authorities have not yet released details about how the vehicles came together.

Troopers from the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Collision Reconstruction Unit remain on the case and are continuing to examine evidence from the scene as part of the ongoing investigation. Police have not announced whether any charges are expected.
