Three charged after cocaine found during traffic stop on Interstate 195

Police say a vehicle stop in Wall Township resulted in cocaine and drug paraphernalia charges against three occupants

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Three people were arrested after Wall Township police said cocaine and drug paraphernalia were discovered during a traffic stop on Interstate 195.

According to police, Patrolman Trent Powers conducted the stop Wednesday.

Authorities arrested Marquis Sowell, 26, of Glassboro, Eideann Irons, 32, of Long Branch, and Alyssa Caccese, 23, of Audubon.

All three were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Sowell and Caccese were processed and released on summonses.

Irons was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Additional details regarding the stop were not immediately released.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
