CECIL CO., MD – A significant house fire occurred on June 21 at 117 West Huron Court in Cecil County, causing substantial damage to the property and its neighbors.

Owned by Albert Rolfe, the single-family dwelling caught fire around 12:48 p.m., with initial reports indicating the blaze started on the exterior deck. The fire prompted a response from the North East Volunteer Fire Company, which dispatched 30 firefighters to the scene.

Despite the efforts, it took approximately 40 minutes to control the fire, which resulted in an estimated $250,000 in damages. Fortunately, no injuries or deaths were reported.
