Three Injured After Argument in Midtown Turns Violent

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a violent assault in the Midtown South Precinct.

The incident was reported early Sunday, occurring around 2:15 AM at West 38th Street and 8th Avenue. An unidentified male suspect initiated a verbal altercation with three individuals—a 30-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman, and a 31-year-old man—and subsequently assaulted them.

The 30-year-old man sustained a fractured nose, face and head abrasions, and several chipped teeth, while the 29-year-old woman lost consciousness from the impact. The 31-year-old man suffered a lacerated lip and swelling to his eye, lip, and face. All victims received medical treatment privately. Following the assault, the suspect fled on foot towards La Quinta Suites at 333 West 38th Street.
