Three teens shot outside City Hall in Philadelphia’s Dilworth Park Ice Rink

PHILADELPHIA — Police are investigating a triple shooting that left three juveniles injured near 15th and Market Streets in Dilworth Park on Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4:33 p.m., according to authorities. A 14-year-old male was transported to Jefferson Hospital in extremely critical condition with injuries that are still being evaluated.

A second victim, whose identity has not been released, sustained a gunshot wound to the left thigh and is in stable condition at Jefferson Hospital. The third victim, another 14-year-old male, was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia by his mother after being shot in the calf and is also listed in stable condition.

Police took one male suspect into custody and are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The department’s Shooting Investigation Group is leading the inquiry.
