Tices Lane closed overnight in East Brunswick for road construction

December 11, 2024

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — A section of Tices Lane will remain closed overnight for road construction, according to the East Brunswick Police Department.

The closure, which began at approximately 5 p.m. Monday, affects the stretch of Tices Lane between Elkins Road and Harts Lane. Construction is expected to continue through the night, with the roadway reopening by Tuesday morning.

Police have implemented detours and traffic control measures to assist drivers navigating the area. Motorists are urged to slow down, exercise caution, and anticipate delays while traveling near the construction zone.

Residents and commuters are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, to avoid congestion.
