Tiny NJ Tavern Sells Two $4.9M Winning Lottery Tickets On Same Day

TRENTON, NJ — Two Morris County lottery players have struck it rich, sharing a $4.9 million Pick-6 jackpot. The winning tickets, which matched all six numbers from the Monday drawing, were both sold at Mill Lane Tavern in Rockaway. The retailer is set to receive a $20,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning tickets.

“Congratulations to our latest Pick-6 winners! It’s rare to see two jackpot-winning tickets sold at the same store,” said Executive Director James Carey. He suggested that the winners could be either one player who purchased multiple tickets or two different individuals.

The drawn numbers for the jackpot were 02, 03, 04, 12, 20, and 26. Alongside the jackpot winners, 18 other players won prizes for matching five numbers, receiving amounts ranging from $766 to $3,064.

The jackpot will reset to $2 million for the next draw on Thursday.
