TOMS RIVER, N.J. — Toms River residents gathered over the weekend to celebrate the three-year anniversary of the Toms River Skatepark with a special event hosted by Mayor Dan Rodrick Toms River Recreation Department. The anniversary jam featured a performance by the Hell on Wheels stunt team and drew a large crowd to the popular local spot.
The event, held in collaboration with local skating legend Jeff Jones, featured a day of high-flying tricks and stunts, along with a variety of food trucks and live music provided by local band The Flukes. Attendees enjoyed a festive atmosphere, with performances by the Hell on Wheels team being a major highlight of the day.
Rodrick expressed his gratitude to the community for their enthusiastic participation.
“We’re thrilled to see so many residents come out and enjoy this event. The Toms River Skatepark has become a vibrant part of our community, and it’s wonderful to see it continue to thrive,” he said.
Special thanks were also extended to the Toms River Parks Department, Buildings & Grounds Department, and Recreation Department for their hard work in organizing the event. Their efforts ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for all who attended.
The anniversary jam marks another successful year for the skatepark, which has become a beloved recreational space for both local skaters and visitors alike.
