Toms River Chamber Unveils New Website

TOMS RIVER, February 16, 2016 – The Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce has unveiled an exciting new re-launch of its website. In collaboration with web design company Creative Click Media, the new website aims to both grow local business and engage the local community with innovative features.

This new website will enhance Chamber memberships by allowing members to register for events, make payments, and receive reminders all in one convenient location. Non-Chamber members will be able to utilize the new website as well, as it will serve as the main headquarters for notable activities in Toms River and its surrounding towns.

“We have created a new website with the hope that it will become the central hub not only for the business community but for everything Toms River,” said Creative Click Media founder Adam Binder. “Our goal for this project is to create a comprehensive and informative website that is extremely user-friendly for not only Chamber members but for the local community as well.”

As well as serving as an information center, the new website boasts a substantial community calendar. Chamber members and community members alike can now post events to this calendar in order to easily reach a broader audience. The calendar utilizes Google Maps technology, and the location of the event will be able to sync to mobile devices for easy GPS compatibility. Chamber members will also be able to list job opportunities via a job portal.

Over the past several months the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce has been encouraging community members and small businesses to hashtag their photos with #WeAreTR in order to show support for their community. The new website will feature a photo stream highlighting those within the Toms River community showing their hometown pride. These photos will stream in real time, allowing participants to have their chance at “15 minutes of fame.”

Sponsorships and ad space are available to be purchased throughout the website. This feature is only available for Chamber members, so interested business owners and local associations are encouraged to sign up for membership. A media kit is available for all additional information.

“With our newly released website designed by Creative Click Media, we are able to connect our members and our community in more meaningful ways,” said Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce CEO Noelle Lotano. “The site has already added immeasurable value to the greater Toms River area – specifically for our chamber members – and I look forward to realizing the power of it in the years to come.”

The Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce is a practical and convenient resource not only for growing a business, but for serving the Toms River community as a whole. It is greatly recommended that those who are considering joining the Chamber do get involved in order to take full advantage of all of the features that the new website has to offer.
