Toms River Farmer’s Market Moving as Town Prepares for Construction of 10-Story Twin Towers

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Toms River Farmer’s Market will have a new home starting in 2022. The event used to be held at the parking lot that will soon become a 10-story twin-tower apartment building on Irons Street.

With that lot soon being converted into a construction site to fulfill the vision of building the town into a small city and destination center, hatched by Mayor Maurice Hill, Council President Kevin Geoghegan and their allies on the Toms River Township Council, the farmer’s market is relocating.

The new location will be Huddy Park. The market runs Wednesdays from 11 am to 4 pm.

Here you can get backed goods, pet treats, and various kinds of artisan items, but you might have to bring your own bag for your goodies due to New Jersey’s plastic bag ban.
