Toms River Little League Softball All-Stars to Start Mid-Atlantic Tournament on Sunday

TOMS RIVER, NJ – The New Jersey State Little League Softball Champions from Toms River Little League is in Bristol, Connecticut today getting ready to start their journey toward the Little League Softball World Series.

They are the first team from the Jersey Shore to reach this far in the tournament in quite a long time.

On Sunday, at 1pm, the girls will take on Georgetown Little League of Delaware to open the tournament.

On Saturday, Georgetown defeated North Pocono/Dandy Lion Little League of Pennsylvania 8-3. By Thursday night, a Mid-Atlantic champion will be crowned.
