Toms River parents rush as Lego camp spots fill fast on Monday holiday

Toms River, NJ – With schools closed Monday for the holiday, township officials are urging parents to act quickly as remaining spots fill in a one-day Lego program designed to keep children engaged while classes are out.

Toms River Recreation has partnered with Mad Science of West New Jersey to offer a hands-on Lego program on Monday, February 16. Organizers said there are only a few openings left in each session, including morning, afternoon, and full-day options.

Registration must be completed by 3 p.m. Friday through the township’s Community Pass system. Officials said the deadline is firm to allow time to finalize rosters and prepare the necessary materials for participants.

Families can register online through Toms River Recreation using the township’s Community Pass portal. The program is part of a broader lineup of seasonal activities coordinated by Toms River Township.

Township officials emphasized that registration will close Friday to ensure instructors have the proper amount of supplies and staffing in place.
