WESTFIELD, N.J. — A tree fell onto a car along Route 22 near the Westfield, Scotch Plains, and Mountainside border earlier this evening, bringing down live wires and igniting a brush fire, according to the Westfield Police Department.

There is no immediate information on injuries or road closures.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area as emergency crews respond.
