Chesapeake, Va. — A truck driver suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon after a collision with a train caused the vehicle to overturn on Yadkin Road in Chesapeake, police said.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 2900 block of Yadkin Road, according to the Chesapeake Police Department. Responding officers found the truck overturned at the scene following the impact with the train.
The adult male driver was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, authorities said.
