Two adults found dead in Dundalk home with gunshot wounds

Two adults were pronounced dead in Dundalk after a shooting inside a residence prompted a police investigation Saturday afternoon.

DUNDALK, Md. — Two adults were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds inside a home in the 7400 block of School Avenue on Saturday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Officers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to a call for service shortly after 2 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered both victims inside the residence. Authorities confirmed that the individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation. The department said detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community,” the department posted in a preliminary statement released on social media.

Police have not released the names of the victims or the nature of their relationship.

Investigation continues into Dundalk double fatal shooting

The area was secured by officers while homicide detectives conducted an initial review of the scene. No arrests have been reported.

Authorities said additional information will be shared once it becomes available. The exact cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
