Two Arrested in Deal for Multiple Property Crimes

DEAL, NJ — The Deal Police Department has announced the arrest of two individuals from Long Branch, NJ, on multiple charges related to property crimes. The arrests occurred on May 9, 2024, following a targeted investigation into thefts at construction sites across the region.

The accused, Jovane Jordan, 25, and Michael White, 43, were apprehended during a traffic stop in Ocean Township. They face charges including burglary, theft, trespassing, receiving stolen property, and fencing.

Jordan, who also faces charges for possession of burglary tools, was remanded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution, while White was released on a summons pending a court appearance.

The operation involved collaboration with several local law enforcement agencies, including the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and police departments from Ocean Township, Long Branch, Oceanport, and Eatontown.
