BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two Buffalo men have been arrested in connection with a May double shooting on Jefferson Avenue that left two men wounded, according to the Buffalo Police Department.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Jefferson Avenue around 2:45 a.m. May 23 for a reported shooting. Police found a man with a gunshot wound to his hand and took him to Erie County Medical Center.
A second man arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle shortly afterward with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Detectives with the department’s Gun Violence Unit identified two suspects during the investigation, police said.
- Two men were wounded in the May 23 shooting.
- Kenion Jones, 26, was arrested Aug. 25.
- Elijah Feaster, 32, was arrested Aug. 27.
Jones, of Buffalo, was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police said he was arrested without incident.
Feaster, also of Buffalo, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree reckless endangerment. He was also arrested without incident.
The charges are allegations, and both men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
