WESTFIELD, NJ – Following a detailed investigation, Ovidiu Rostas, 30, and Rozalia Munteanu, 27, both hailing from Elmhurst, New York, were charged with Theft by Deception.
They were charged on Wednesday, October 19, around 5:00 PM. The incident occurred at a retail establishment near the 1100 block of West South Avenue.
Both individuals have received a criminal complaint summons.
They are expected to appear in Union County Superior Court soon.
