Two injured in Baltimore shooting, one in critical condition

BALTIMORE, MD — Two men were hospitalized Saturday night after a shooting in Northwest Baltimore, where one victim remains in critical condition, police said.

The incident occurred on January 5 at approximately 8:37 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bloomingdale Road. Officers responding to multiple reports of gunfire found one male victim at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. A second male victim was later located in the 2800 block of Presstman Street, also with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. One remains in critical condition, while the other is reported to be in stable condition.

Preliminary investigations indicate that both men were shot in the 1600 block of Bloomingdale Road. Detectives with the Northwest District Shooting Unit are leading the investigation and urge anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2466.
