Two Lucky Powerball Tickets Hit $50K Each in the Bronx and Saint Albans

NEW YORK – The New York Lottery has confirmed that two third-prize-winning tickets for the December 27th Powerball drawing were sold in New York. These lucky tickets, each worth $50,000, were purchased in the Bronx and Saint Albans.

The first winning ticket was sold at Cruger Deli and Candy, located at 722 Allerton Avenue in the Bronx. The second ticket was purchased at La Melliza Mini Market at 191-02 120th Avenue in Saint Albans. Both tickets matched the winning numbers for a substantial third prize in the popular Powerball game.

Powerball is known for its large jackpots and exciting draws, where players select numbers from a field of one to 69 and a red Power Ball from a separate field of one to 26. The drawings are held three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., offering multiple opportunities for participants to win various prizes.

Players are encouraged to check their tickets and claim any prizes they may have won.
