Suspects arrested weeks after fatal gunfire left one man dead
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting that claimed the life of a 26-year-old man earlier this month, according to Baltimore County Police.
The arrests stem from the July 12 homicide in the 1600 block of Whitehead Court in the 21207 ZIP code.
Officers responded to the area at approximately 1:30 a.m. after reports of a shooting and found 26-year-old Christopher Pierce suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, homicide detectives arrested 36-year-old Cameron Adams and 38-year-old Dwayne Lee in connection with the killing.
According to Baltimore County Police, both men have been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence, along with additional charges.
Adams and Lee are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Police have not released additional information about what led to the shooting or the circumstances surrounding the arrests. The investigation remains ongoing.
