Two Men Shot In Back As Dozens of Bullets Fired In D.C. Neighborhood

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A shooting incident on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southwest D.C. left two men injured on Saturday afternoon. The victims were discovered with gunshot wounds to the back but were conscious and able to breathe when police arrived.

Following reports of 30 rounds being fired, D.C. Police rushed to an apartment complex in the area and promptly transported the injured men to a hospital for treatment. Witnesses reported hearing the gunshots, although no clear descriptions of the shooter(s) were provided. Authorities are on the lookout for a red Honda believed to be involved in the incident.
