Two new players enter the Jackson Township Pizza game and theyre national chain brands

JACKSON, NJ – Jackson Township is one of New Jersey’s largest towns by size, around 100 or so square miles, and might also hold the record for most pizzerias per capita in the state too. Now, in addition to the local mom-and-pop pizzerias around the town, two big players are moving in.

In the Bennetts Mills Plaza, Pizza Hut is moving in. The franchise replaces the Howell Township Route 9 store that closed down earlier this year.

On the other side of town, across the street from the Cassville Tavern, a Domino’s pizza sign popped up at the location of the old Cassville Deli.

No word has been given yet by either store as to when they will be open. Jackson now goes from a town with no major pizzeria chains operating within its borders to two, expected to open within a few months of each other.

Jackson is known for its brutal and competitive pizza wars. Some of the more notable restaurants in town are Inzillo’s, Mona Lisa, Enzo’s, Destino’s, Mangia Brick Oven, Emilio’s, Brooklyn Square, Guisseppe’s and Luisa’s.

Let us know in the comments below who has the best pizza in town.
