Two Pennsylvania Fugitives Captured in Maryland

CUMBERLAND, MD – The Cumberland Police Department announced the successful execution of arrest warrants on Friday, July 26, for two individuals following separate firearms investigations.

Roy Earl Sheetz, 42, from Buffalo Mills, Pennsylvania, was arrested under charges of illegal possession of a regulated firearm and having a loaded handgun on his person. Sheetz was taken to a District Court Commissioner and held on a $5,000 bond.

In a separate incident, Terrance Alexander Peterson, 22, from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, was also served with an arrest warrant. Peterson faces charges including two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of disturbing the peace. He was placed under arrest and held without bond following his court appearance.

Both arrests stem from detailed investigations conducted by the Cumberland Police, emphasizing the department’s ongoing commitment to addressing firearm-related offenses within the community.
