Two Pennsylvania Teens Arrested for Attack on Wildwood Boardwalk

NORTH WILDWOOD, NJ – Two juvenile suspects involved in an aggravated assault at 26th & Boardwalk have been arrested following a public appeal for help by the department on social media. The North Wildwood Police Department confirmed the arrests on Friday.

After a media release on June 8th prompted several public tips, detectives identified a 17-year-old from Philadelphia, PA, and a 16-year-old from Ivyland, PA. Both suspects turned themselves in at the North Wildwood Police Headquarters.

Detective Deritis charged the juveniles with 3rd Degree Aggravated Assault and 3rd Degree Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Assault. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

The department thanked the community for their crucial tips and commended the Patrol and Detective Divisions for their roles in the case.
