FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A collision between two vehicles in Lorton left two people seriously injured on Tuesday morning.
The Fairfax County Police Department reported the crash occurred at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Armistead Road. At 7:47 a.m., authorities announced on X that medics had transported two individuals with life-threatening injuries to the hospital.
The accident resulted in the closure of Richmond Highway at Armistead Road for several hours, with the road reopening around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
