Fight At Bronx Party Ends with Two Shot

BRONX, NY — A party in the Bronx turned violent early Tuesday morning, resulting in a shooting that left two men injured.

The incident occurred around 3:25 a.m. in a building on Walton Avenue in the Concourse area. A verbal argument broke out among several partygoers, escalating when someone pulled out a gun and shot a 26-year-old man. The victim flagged down nearby police officers and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.

A second victim, a 27-year-old man, was also shot in the leg and transported himself to the hospital. Police recovered at least nine shell casings at the scene and are actively searching for suspects. It is unclear if the shooter and victims knew each other.
