ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Atlantic City Police Department officers responded to a gunshot notification from the citywide Shotspotter alert system on Friday but found no evidence of gunfire, or victims initially. The incident happened at around 9:31 a.m on Caspian Avenue.
Officers did find evidence of gunshots in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Absecon Boulevard, but no victim.
“Moments later, officers were alerted that two male shooting victims, 31 and 30 of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries,” the Atlantic City Police Department said Friday night.
